A running theme of The Black Eyed Peas' latest album has been the future.
So after borrowing heavily from many sci-fi classics, such as Tron and Terminator, it was only a matter of time before they were inspired by Back To The Future.
For his latest single, Black Eyed Pea Will.I.Am managed to track down a rare DeLorean DMC-12 - famous for being the time machine driven by Marty McFly in the film trilogy.
Will.I.Am and his Black Eyed Peas bandmate Fergie have teamed up with DJ David Guetta and dance group LMFAO to film the video for their new collaboration Gettin' Over You.
The song came together earlier this year as Guetta and LMFAO partied with the Black Eyed Peas after one of their concerts.
Spotted shooting the video in Hollywood, Will.I.Am looked right at home as he in the driver's seat of the DeLorean.
Meanwhile, Fergie missed out on all the fun and just had a microphone as her accessory as she photographed singing in a nearby studio.
But the curvy singer looked like a vision from Marty's scary alternate 1985 from BTTF II as she dressed as a biker chick in a leather cropped top and high ponytail.
The DeLorean leaped to iconic fame in 1985 when it became the method of transportation for Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) and Doc Brown's (Christopher Lloyd) adventures through space and time.
It also appeared in the sequels II and III in 1989 and 1990 respectively.
Film producers chose the DeLorean DMC-12 model for the time machine because of its spaceship-like gullwing doors.
During the trilogy, the time machine was powered by various fuels, including petrol, nuclear power, recycled rubbish, and of course, one point 20 jigawatts of lightning.
